Mark A. Johnson is a non-attorney labor relations consultant with Rose Law Firm, P.C. Mark has more than 20 years of labor relations and negotiating experience, which he earned while working as a California firefighter. Through his 32 year career in the California fire service, Mark served in all ranks, retiring as an Assistant Fire Chief. Before promoting into the ranks of management, Mark served for many years the union president of International Association of Firefighters (IAFF), Local 3556, as well as other fire service labor organizations. His fondest and most memorable times in the fire service were as an engine company captain.

Mark has negotiated labor agreements on both sides of the bargaining table. Mark provides labor consulting, negotiations, and employee advocacy services to the firm’s labor clients. He has maintained his membership with his brothers and sisters in the IAFF, still functions as a member of the Honor Guard, and practices playing his bagpipe whenever he can find the time
